7 september 2015
the university of buckingham has once again come top of the rankings as the place to study with the safest campus.
the independent university has come top of the complete university guide’s rankings for the third time, according to data used by the guide’s authors.
vice-chancellor of the university of buckingham, anthony seldon, said: “year after year buckingham comes top of the rankings as the safest place to study. one of the key considerations for parents is whether their child will be safe when they leave home and they certainly will be at buckingham. with all the current concern about safety we are all the more delighted to hear the praise for the safety of our campus.
“as well as offering a beautiful campus, which is the safest in the country, buckingham also tops the league tables for student satisfaction and graduate employability. our students are the safest and the happiest and they get jobs at the end of their studies. buckingham really is one of the best places in the country to study.”
the university of buckingham was last month voted top for student satisfaction in the national student survey (nss) for the sixth time. it is ranked 2nd out of 126 universities for staff for staff: student ratio – (complete university guide 2016), and ranked 7th in psychology out of 112 universities (the guardian university league table 2016) and 7th in politics out of 77 universities (the guardian university league table 2016). figures verified by hesa reveal 98.1% of buckingham graduates are employed within six months.
